Our Story

We have been dreaming about introducing our brand to the world for MANY years, but until now, never had the confidence to take that leap of faith and 'give it a go'.

It is now the backend of 2024, and we have finally plucked up the courage.

So here we are, 'Here Fishy Fishy' has finally taken the scary step of saying hello to the big wide world.

But, who are we, and why is this brand so important to us, and why do we strongly believe that fishing is about more than just 'catching fish'.

At the heart of our story is the fact that 'life is very rarely, straight forward', it is constantly throwing us challenges, curveballs and complications, and some people deal with this better than others. Then, just when you think you may have finally gotten yourself on an even keel, life decides to send you down a different path, with more challenges, curveballs and complications.

We all deal with the rollercoaster of life differently, some better than others. Some are lucky enough to have the support and confidence to deal with life head on, but for many, their can be times when it all just becomes to overwhelming, and here at 'Here Fishy Fishy' we know exactly how that feels.

Our escape, our sanity, our way of coping, has always been our time on the bank, with rods in the water, relaxing, escaping (just for a while) from our lives and its challenges, surrounded by the wonders of nature (and those pesky ducks and swans that love nothing more than disturbing your line and trying to pinch your bait).

Without having that escape in our lives, without being able to get away, sitting in front of our rods, with excitement and anticipation, and mutter those words 'Here Fishy Fishy', their would have been many times over the year, when life would have become too much.

For many, fishing is simply about fishing, for others it is about catching their favourite species or bettering their PB, but for many it is about much more than just 'catching fish'.

Thank you for taking to time to read our story and we hope you will be able to follow and support us as we try to grow our brand.

We know we are not perfect, we will make mistakes, but we will always try to learn from them.

Our promise to you, is that whatever happens, we will always try to stay true to our belief that fishing is an all inclusive, supportive pastime, and what ever your reasons for partaking, we will, through our brands social media accounts, always be here to offer help and support.
